Goodbye, Radio Raheem. Bill Nunn, an actor known for his beloved role in Do the Right Thing, died on Saturday, September 24, filmmaker Spike Lee confirmed. He was 62.

I never saw Do the Right Thing, but remember him as one of the cops from Sister Act. RIP

He was also in the Spiderman moves (The real spiderman movies with Tobey).
He did not seem that old. He was one of those guys that you see often but probably don't recognize the name.

I remember him mostly as the physical therapist in Regarding Henry.

To me he was always Pip on The Job (the beta version of Rescue Me), an ABC comedy probably about a decade ahead of its time. This badass looking cop who was pretty much a puss completely whipped by his wife and was the angel to Denis Leary's devil.

The Job was definitely ahead of its time - it's too bad it could have wound up on FX, though Rescue Me was essentially the same show but with firefighters and a little more dramatic.
