Re: Target DVD prices (July 31st - August 6th, 2016)
If Blacklist has exclusive content then I'll pick it up asap, if only packaging then I'll wait.
Same with Blindspot, though I'm pretty sure that's exclusive packaging only. And maybe just for the Blu.
I also have interest this week in The Bronze, Manhattan Night, The Girlfriend Experience Season 1, and High Strung. I doubt they'll carry TGE S1, but maybe some of the others. I hope that there are some decent deals on at least a couple of those. I prefer bargains of course, but at the same time I don't want to put too much stuff off until BF.
Thanks.

The Girlfriend Experience Season 1
Target did/does carry "The Affair: Season One", they might carry the other.

Was at Target this morning and saw those new Harry Potter 2 disc sets. They are actually the movie only Blu-ray plus the corresponding Blu-Ray that has one part of the 8 part series spenning documentary. Essentially 2 discs from each of the Blu-Ray ultimate editions. If you don't care about the other extras, these might be a good fit. They also have new cover art including a shiny new slipcover.

Configurations of the DVD or BD sets are the same. Both have shiny slipcovers. Only difference being the discs being DVD's or BD's. The two prince points being what you posted earlier.

Re: Target DVD prices (July 31st - August 6th, 2016)
I don't know if the exclusive is that it has a slip, or the design of the slip, or that it is made of a different sort of material that has a special feel to it. In any event, it has a unique UPC: 013132646527 and Target has it regularly for $24.99 with no discount this week.
Speaking of Target exclusives, there was Blacklist S3 Red Edition DVD (and BD) with exclusive cover and slip, no bonus content.
Also Blindspot S1 DVD (and BD) with exclusive lenticular cover and slip, no bonus content.
Target also had Manhattan Night for $12.99 vs. WM's $19.96.
Speaking of my local WM, they finally got in Slasher Season 1! My 6th time checking was the charm.

OP revised.
Let me, get this clear?
"The Girlfriend Experince" season one has an exclusive slipcover?

Re: Target DVD prices (July 31st - August 6th, 2016)
Meanwhile, since you mentioned the op, I didn't see any evidence of a Blacklist BD/DVD/DC combo. At one store I saw three copies of the Blacklist S3 Red edition DVD w/exclusive Red Edition slip and DVD front cover. At a second store I saw three copies of the Blacklist S3 Red edition Blu-ray w/exclusive Red Edition slip and Blu-ray front cover. But no combo packs. Maybe those exist and were at other stores, but I'm guessing it more likely that Target mis-advertised, and that there are no Combo packs for this Season.

Re: Target DVD prices (July 31st - August 6th, 2016)
Couldn't yesterday.
So I went this morning.
The exclusive slipcover for "The Girlfriend Experience" S1 is texured, not matted or glossy, feels like fabric.
I was lucky to find mine. They had the DVD not were the new releases were shelved, but at the children's titles. WTF?
'Mommy, I want to be sugar baby when I grow up.'
Whatever, your kids not mine.
There were three copies, two had damaged slipcases, one didn't - took that one home.
Hope this is good, a blind buy.

Re: Target DVD prices (July 31st - August 6th, 2016)
Congratulations on finding it (assuming you find it worthwhile).
I feel sure that I've seen/felt that sort of a textured slipcover before, but am unsure where.
I still don't know if the exclusive is that texture, the design, or that Target's the only one with a slip. But since neither BB or WM is carrying it (and the FYE here closed) then I guess I won't see a regular release, unless I (or anyone else) orders it online.
That is weird that Target would make such a big mistake in shelving, unless a customer moved it? In any event, I'm sure they'll hear about it sooner or later.
