Thanks for the heads-up, DVD-Obsession! Up until your post, I'd been doing really well with cutting back on my purchases for the month; however, I caved when I saw that a good many complete series sets were included in their list of qualifying titles. Here's what I snagged:
Justified: Seasons 1-6
The Six Million Dollar Man: The Complete Series
Mission: Impossible--The Original TV Series
I Love Lucy: The Complete Series
American Gothic: The Complete Series
Star Trek TOS: The Complete Series
All of those for less than $50 shipped? Yeah, buddy. Thanks again!

Thanks DVD-Obsession! I, too, was able to pick up a couple of deals and fill a few gaps. But WOW! The number of OOS titles is staggering! Almost all of the "complete series" sets were OOS this morning when I saw your post (6 ish).
I did snag a backup copy of ST:TOS (complete) for me and I Love Lucy (complete) for my grandson (or I'll give him my individual sets and keep the smaller footprint one). I also picked up a Carol Burnett Lost Episodes 6 disc set (hopefully they'll actually ship the 6 disc version I ordered and not the 3 disc one) and Leave It To Beaver S6 to finish that one. I wanted the entire series and was going to give my incomplete set to my grandson as it, too, is a favorite of his but it was OOS by the time I saw your post. Even so, $9 shipped (includes sales tax) for S6 is OK by me as it never goes on sale. Then I saw The Rebel complete series was included and added Community S6 (to finish that one as well). With shipping and tax my total came to $54. A incredible bargain - if it all ships.
It looks like this may be the start of "fire sales" to get rid of stock unless the inclusion of *expensive* full series was yet another apparent accident. If they are truly getting out of media sales this looks like a good start. But I was surprised that *no* BR sets worked at all, at least none I tried. Usually *some* will work even if it says "DVD" on the offer.

There are still quite a lot of recent individual seasons of current shows left, and probably half of the single-disc Criterion DVDs are still available. I'm REALLY trying not to place another order....

Was able to pick up 2 ILL, Bewitched & I Dream of Jeannie complete series sets for Christmas gifts.
Would have loved to order MI & Andy Griffith but I was too late for the show. Had checked in at 7:30 am EDT, but they were OSS.

They are still having issues with this sale/code. Earlier it worked on sets under $30. Currently it says: "The promo code (DEUCES) you entered is not valid." no matter what's in the cart.
**EDIT**
I just noticed it's also no longer mentioned on their home landing. It was ~5 minutes ago as I checked to be sure.
**EDIT 2**
I also now have tracking #s on all but 1 title. Keep in mind that doesn't mean they've actually been mailed - just that labels have been created.

I'm keeping it in my cart however, just in case the code works later. I bought season one back in the 5 for $20 sale, but adding the second season for just $7 would be nice, especially since I can always resell the season one set.

Even though I received shipping notices for both orders (12 items) that I bought late this morning, I just got a notice that says that one of the items from my 8-item order is out of stock and won't be shipping. They adjusted my billing accordingly, charging me $7 plus shipping for each item in the now 7-item order.
At least it wasn't one of the big sets--just Season 4 of Adam-12.

My DVD Boxed Sets that I bought new for $7 each were cancelled even though they still show these Boxed Sets on their website as new and available.

Same with the 6 different dvd box sets that were canceled. All show them as being in stock on their site. Even though the emails I finally got say the reason they were canceled were because they were OOS.

Ordered two Ghibli titles, which were both cancelled. Weeks ahead should be interesting, re. Go Hastings' future.

Re: GoHastings Sale (Limited Time Only) - Check Verbiage For Details
I guess I got lucky...
Only *one* title out of eight ordered has been cancelled. Another is in "pre-shipment" status (hasn't been delivered to/picked up by USPS) but *does* have a tracking number. I'm thinking they *could* stop that one up until it's in USPS hands.
Six titles *have* shipped and are on their way - one was delivered today:
Delivered:
Last of the Summer Wine: Vintage 2005
On the way:
Star Trek: The Original Series - The Complete Series
I Love Lucy: The Complete Series (33PC)/(BOX) (This and ST:TOS in the same package - coming UPS)
Rebel: The Complete Series
The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes - Treasures from the Vault
Community: Season 6
Pre-Shipment status w/tracking number:
Leave It to Beaver: Season Six
Cancelled:
Last of the Summer Wine: Vintage 1997
**EDIT**
That Pre-Shipment order looks to have been picked up by USPS.

I guess that I got lucky as well--I just received notices from UPS that two packages will be delivered tomorrow. Just for the record, here's the breakdown:

American Gothic: The Complete Series
Fawlty Towers: The Complete Collection
Agnes Varda in California: Eclipse Series 43
and cancelled from that order, Adam-12: Season Four
Order #2
Arriving tomorrow (for which I DON'T have to sign):
Star Trek: The Original Series: The Complete Series
In Treatment: Season 1
Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Sixth Season
Also from Order #2, but arriving later:
The Beverly Hillbillies: The Official First Season

Re: GoHastings Sale (Limited Time Only) - Check Verbiage For Details
Today is the last day (07/13/16) that GH will accept Refunds or Exchanges. They already proved to be unreliable and untrustworthy by cancelling orders that were purchased by their latest sale (2 new DVD's for $14). I will continue to post any new GH sales if they have any, but I can't risk buying movies from them until I find out what the final outcome will be. If they overcharge an order, or send the wrong movie or the case or movie is damaged, or you didn't receive your merchandise, but they charged you for it, they no longer will rectify the problem. Their e-mail message basically says all sales are final and as-is. I don't want to go through the hassle of calling my Credit Card company or Paypal to work out any problem. So, as they often say "Buyer Be Ware".

Re: GoHastings Sale (Limited Time Only) - Check Verbiage For Details
I had one set delivered yesterday - no problems with it.
Another was delivered today (USPS) but I'll not know if there are issues until I get home.
The UPS order is on the truck for delivery today - should be there by the time I get home.
Two sets are scheduled for Saturday delivery with the last one still in "Picked up" status although it has a Monday "scheduled" delivery date.
I just do *not* understand the logic of the USPS. The package scheduled for Saturday delivery originated in a town ~2.5 hours away and would come directly through the distribution center for my town on its way (no detour needed). So... they send it 2.5 hours in the *opposite* direction so it can *come back* this way. It could have been delivered today had it come the most direct route. Still, based on the time-of-departure in that far away town, it should be delivered tomorrow (it *should* get to the area distribution center late today and my town early tomorrow). We'll see...
The one with "Picked up" status appears to have gone ~2 hours north of the originating city (away from my distribution center again) and then *back* to the origination city. It was "accepted" at the origin location, then "arrived" at that 2 hour north location, and was then "Picked up" back where it started. It's on a *very* strange trip...

Hey! Hastings management!
If you're going so far as to have *this* at the bottom of *every page*:
Then maybe you need to *remove* this:
It seems to me that if you're not honoring returns, allowing refunds, or allowing exchanges and forcing customers to go through bankruptcy arbitration for satisfaction if there's a problem with a purchase then there's no longer *any* guarantee.
