Direct TV GenieGo?

Did they pull the plug on this item? You were (with their device) suppose be able too watch DVR recordings anywhere but there seems too have been a major problem somewhere down the road.

I figured they would charge money for streaming anything from Direct TV even though you already have an account. Charter Spectrum streaming(I have about 115 channels) is free with a Charter Subscription but I don't see Direct TV giving anything for free as long as there is a buck too be made.

Last night they offered me a free mini-genie for my home but I said there is no line hook up going too my tv in the kitchen and they said there would be a 49.95 installation fee. So something for free still cost's money. That sounds just like Direct TV.

Re: Direct TV GenieGo?

Just got an email, and watching your DVR shows on your mobile device is available now. Provided you are on the same network as your DVR.
Or, now you can download them to your device and watch them, even without an internet connection.
Email says "you have been selected" so this might be YMMV?
