Wont play dts. Any thoughts?

i have a yamaha 1105 (i think that is the model #), a yamaha demodulator and a pioneer laserdisc player with ac-3 out. it plays ac-3 encoded discs fine. bought the dts version of Spawn and it doesnt read it. is it just that this is one of the models that wont read the dts? thanks in advance!

How do you have the player connected to the reciever. Is is only via the ac-3 rf out, if so that will only output the dolby digital signal. You need to hook up the player via the optical output (if it has one) so the dts signal can be decoded.

If any of this info is incorrect please correct me forum members.
