I have a region 1 DVD Player. Is there anything I can buy to make it an all region DVD Player? Any kind of scrambler or anything?

For the most part, it is not as easy as you say. Some DVD players (although limited in number) can be made region-free using certain software commands. However, most require you to replace or modify your region chip inside of your player. You can purchase the "kit" and do it yourself, or there are companies that will make your DVD player region-free for you.
