Beatles, Beach Boys, or Queen — Favorite of these (or other) pocket symphonies?
Of these three, which is your favorite pocket symphony? If your all-time favorite is not one of these, which is it?

I like The Beatles more overall but I think I like Bohemian Rhapsody better than A Day in the Life (although both are great songs).

Bohemian Rhapsody is more fun but A Day in the Life is the better song. Good Vibrations is also great but less so than the other two.

I like all 3 of these, but I give an edge to A Day in the Life

Personally there are just parts of A Day In the Life that don't work for me. Enjoy the song, but prefer the other two more. But Bohemian Rhapsody is so overplayed these days (damn you Wayne) that I actually will probably be the only one to say Good Vibrations. While I honestly like all three, I'm not burnt out on the Beach Boys.

1. Beatles (probably the best thing they ever did, maybe)
2. Queen (although The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke is a better 'symphony')

Never heard the term "pocket symphony" before. Would November Rain qualify?

"Good Vibrations." I'm not partial to the other two.

Although I much prefer The Beatles to The Beach Boys overall, I like "Good Vibrations" more than "A Day In the Life." I don't care for that other band at all.

A Day in the Life. Such a great, great song. Even now hearing that song shoots me back to the summer of 1987. That summer was the 20th anniversary of Sgt Pepper's and I bought a copy of the album on cassette which I played many a night that summer - I can still smell the cherry incense and cheap pot lmao

I like all three but picked Good Vibrations. The McCartney section of A Day in the Life always seemed a little goofy to me, and kills the momentum established by Lennon's opening. And while I appreciate the ambition of Bohemian Rhapsody, the opera section detracts from what is otherwise a lovely ballad.
Good Vibrations is perfect though, and never gets old.

If this qualifies, it gets my vote:
