Looking for David Letterman 11/7/95 VHS/DVD
Hi - wondering if anyone may have this episode of The Late Show on VHS or DVD. Contains Danny DeVito, Brett Butler, and dipstick skit. I'd be happy to pay you back for your time and materials! Thanks - would love to get this one.

That was a Tuesday, right? I got Monday and Wednesday of that week, but I forgot to set up my VCR to tape Tuesday's because my stupid sister was hogging the TV watching Caroline in the City! Sorry. Good luck though!

It wouldn't have mattered, Nothing Lasts Forever (Part 2) ran long that night and pushed everything back a little. Not sure how you screw up allocating something like that but I guess it happens.

Trevor - that's fine. Can you send me an e-mail at [email protected] to discuss this further?

Was that the crossover episode with Jonathan Silverman's Single Guy character and Chandler from Friends?

Try asking the guy who runs this site:

he has a link to one of the skits from 11/7/95 here:

Can you get me a video?
CBS and Worldwide Pants Incorporated do not provide copies of past shows or segments. Dave's production company, Worldwide Pants, owns the copyright to Late Show episodes. They don't mind if fans trade segments among themselves.
I get video requests every few days, and have helped people with segments many times, at no charge. I have 540 hours on tape from 5,800 hours of episodes. I almost never record musical acts. I have digital captures of very recent episodes, but you can get them from the Late Show web site.
I'll be happy to check my Late Night and Late Show episode logs to get you the date and episode number, and make you a video if I can, but I will not give you contact information for other fans.

Re: Looking for David Letterman 11/7/95 VHS/DVD
This thread makes me wonder if we'll ever see a DVD collection of old Letterman episodes the way they've released Johnny Carson stuff. Then again, the episodes I'd really like to see are almost exclusively from his Late Night days on NBC and not his Late Show days on CBS...so who knows what legal issues between NBC and Letterman might prevent that from happening.

Your best bet would be Alan Smithee, he probably recorded it.

bnb2050, I had stopped taping him by the end of '95, I'm afraid. I was starting to feel like he was becoming the type of host he used to make fun of in his NBC years.
