I can't wait till tonight but fuck if I don't want this show to go on longer. 10 episodes is not enough. Such amazing writing

Wow....another great episode. Massacre at Sioux Falls I guess! Was not sure how they would all bring it together but they did in spectacular fashion.
May be the greatest single season of a show ever. Fargo Season 3 is an impossible task.

Did anything happen after Lou left the motel and all the backup arrived? My DVR cut the recording off right there, even though it said there was 5 minutes left.

Mine did the same thing. DirecTV? I recorded the replay and yes, all we missed were the credits sequence and preview. It literally cut off a second before going to black.

DirecTV consistently has issues with FX shows for some reason. It has happened to me on SOA, You're the Worst, Americans and this. I basically add 5 minutes to the end of all FX shows now because it was happening so frequently.

I could have done without the flashback scenes showing what had happened before, but still an awesome episode and series. Those flashes just really seemed out of place since this is the first time in the series that I can remember them being used.
Not really sure how I feel about the UFO showing up again either. Seems like a strange way to portray what are really key turning points in the plot.
Arkin directs the finale as well. He is also supposedly an actor in a lot of the last episodes, but I can only recall seeing him for a few seconds a couple episodes ago at the KC HQ.

Pretty intense showdown at the motel.
The UFO I found very meh. It really wasn't necessary.
Gotta love Peggy.
The music playing in parts was definitely a take on Pink Floyd's "On the Run".

So I guess the only Gerhardt left is Charlie.
I wonder if a 50+ year old Charlie makes an appearance in S3.

I'm not sure why folks are surprised/upset about the UFO. It kicked off the whole sequence of events, and has been referenced in every episode since.
