Imagine if one of the most infamous bombs of all time has been re-spliced on YouTube into something halfway decent. The whole Belushi as a ghost and his guardian angel garbage has been excised, and the scenes are assembled in a much more cogent narrative. Chiklis is actually pretty good in this:

I rented that when it first came out and found it almost unwatchable, but I didn't know much about John Belushi then in the first place. I recently bought the laserdisc to give it another chance and see how bad it really is, I'll have to watch that before this edit. There's a number of movies that I'd edit differently to make them better.

I remember when the book "Wired" by Bob Woodward was released and all of John Belushi's friends and family felt betrayed by it after they gave Woodward so much access because it make Belushi look so out of control. Then the movie version came out and everyone hated it.

But at least the "Wired" movie did lead to a very entertaining episode of the Cinema Snob
