Well, first we got 6 films, then 7 and now 4...all for more money. But wait, some think we should be lucky to have these in BD because it costs so much to restore them...B.S.!

I'm sure someone/several people will have a favorite or two in here, but this set is quite a bit down the food chain for his output compared to the first two sets. Unless you have OCD, most people would realize a better bang for their buck picking up a few single Kino/Olive titles of his during a sale.

An Evening with Edgar Allen Poe isn't even a proper movie. It's 50 minutes of Price reading Poe stories. And I have it on DVD (as an extra to another movie) and hardly seems like something to need HD.
Some of his other best good movies had Blu Ray releases from other companies (House of Wax, The Fly, Twice Told Tales, War Gods of the Deep, Madhouse, Scream and Scream Again). Still, there are a handful of good movies that haven't gotten a Blu Ray release that could've filled out this set more (The Tingler, Theater of Blood, The Mad Magician).

Shout! doesn't have a licensing deal with Sony with these sorts of movies, and the word on the street as that all those titles have been gobbled up by other labels: The Mad Magician by Mill Creek, Theater of Blood (definitely a rumor here) by Twilight Time, and The Tingler...well, it wasn't part of Mill Creek's William Castle set, so presumably Sony's holding onto it or it's with Twilight Time / another licensee.

Pretty sure Witchfinder General is the problem title. I got mine, but for others I hope they do some kind of re-release. That first set had some great movies.

This is a pretty weak bunch of films and as stated before, one of them isn't really a movie. I will likely only get this volume if the price is cheaper than the first two sets.

I do like Cry of the Banshee. But that's about it for this set. I am glad that I was able to grab Volume 1 before it went out of print. I do have Volume II also, which I like. But I think that i'll pass on Volume III. Unless it comes by at a cheap price sometime in the future. Then I might grab it, but that's the only way. I do like the box covers though.
