Just got Vizio 55 e series c2 - recommend picture settings?

Hi friends. It's been awhile and Im married now and we got our first tv for our house! I set up my sisters vizio 2 yes ago and with her great picture we set up, those settings don't apply with my TV. It looks off. Despite trying things and google nothing looks as good as the factory setting of "computer" Is anyone else here facing the same thing? Would you be willing to share your custom settings with me? Thanks guys!

I remember the last time I got a new tv, I read a bit on hometheaterforum.com . Lots of people over there more knowledgeable than I, or at least way more anal retentive, about display calibration. The basic gist I came away with, is no two setups are exactly alike. Therefore what is "calibrated" for one environement very likely will not be for your environment. They recommended going with a preset and then using a calibration disc to fine tune it for your particular setup and environment. http://www.hometheaterforum.com/topi.../#entry3981810 is just a brief explanation. I would poke around there a bit and see what you can find.

OP, did you try the settings suggested? How did they work for you?

I have an E-55 C1, but I tried your (Cnet's) settings. Not bad, but "Standard" color still produces a yellowish tone. I'd like to find a solution to that.
