Favorite Charles Bronson movies from his Cannon Films era?
I know this is kind of an odd poll question. But, I didn't really become a fan of Bronson until his Cannon Films era. He was already considered old and past his prime. There are quite a few that I thought were fun guilty pleasures.
My personal favorite is 10 to Midnight. It's a good mix of horror and B action movie.
Death Wish II was entertaining, but a little hard to watch because of a few really graphic rape scenes.

Haven't seen all of them, but 10 to Midnight is good escapist hokum. D.W. III is pure trash.

Haven't seen:
Murphy's Law
Assassination
Messenger of Death
Of those that I've seen, gotta go with Norm and pick the sleazy 10 to Midnight.

After watching Electirc Bogaloo it made me want to watch Some Charles Bronson flicks, Death Wish 3 is amazing, whats not to love just watching him shoot a bunch of criminals in such entertaining fashion.

Barely remember any of them so I voted for DWII. It's the only one I can remember well enough from being on HBO back in the day.

I love all of them, and pretty much anything with Bronson, but DEATH WISH III is the king of that crop. Total exploitation pic, in a practically post-apocalyptic New York, with Ed Lauter giving Bronson the go-ahead to willfully shoot down every thug? Fuck yes.

I love the original theatrical poster for 10 to Midnight
There is a deleted scene from the new Electric Boogaloo documentary that talks a little about the movie. I think one of the Producers of the film (Lance Hool) said that they were originally planning to pitch the movie to a major studio for a big release. They really thought that this was going to re-emerge Bronson as a major star. They really loved the script. But, things didn't work out and it ended up at Cannon as a low budget B movie.

Seen em all countless times. But since a poster of Death Wish 3 is currently hanging in my computer room, I'll go with that one.
Cannon Bronson is how I discovered him as a kid. The last few weeks I have been going back through his older movies.

DWII has the odd distinction of being scored by Jimmy Page, but I went with DWIII. The final showdown is completely ridiculous and completely awesome.

HOUSE OF WAX (when he was still Charles Buchinsky)
CRIME WAVE
VERA CRUZ
APACHE
DRUM BEAT
JUBAL
RUN OF THE ARROW
THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN
KID GALAHAD
THE GREAT ESCAPE
THE SANDPIPER (which stars Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor!)
THE DIRTY DOZEN
ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST
RIDER ON THE RAIN
THE FAMILY (VIOLENT CITY)
RED SUN
THE STONE KILLER
He was quite a damn good actor before he became a star.

I kinda want to see "Death Wish II" again because I found out the surprising news that Jimmy Page wrote the original soundtrack for it.
Apparently he was neighbors with the movie's director so that's how he ended up being offered the scoring job. And with it being soon after Led Zeppelin broke up and a couple of years before The Firm, I guess working on this soundtrack gave Jimmy Page something to do with his time.

Jimmy Page is also credited as the soundtrack composer for "Death Wish 3" a few years later, but it doesn't sound much like his music. And I've read that although he gets the screen credit, he didn't wrote much of this music for this one.

Assassination, because I later became friends with the girl who played his assistant "Charlie" in that movie.

I voted DWII, but have a fondness for 10 to Midnight. I remember watching DWIII on HBO as a kid with my dad. The preposterous gunfights with the street gangs that permeated that movie anointed it one of the worst movies he claimed to have ever seen. Looking back on it, it can easily be viewed as pure schlock, though still pretty bad.

Whilst Death Wish II is pretty entertaining, Death Wish III is unbelievably horrible and yet amazing at the same time. Just so corny and the action is terrible. It was one of those movies that my friends and i could not help re-watching simply because it was a great bad movie. Nows....wheres Big Wildey.

Is DW III the one where the main bad guy says hurt him, and his crew go to town on a poor sob with a hatchet? Also, the same film where Bronson has a pistol delivered that can take down elephants, and finally...a bazooka is used to finally take out the big bad?
Heck, if it is the same film...so much more to like, like those traps he sets up to stop burglars (I still cringe at seeing all the blood from the guy who stepped on the plank spiked with nails, and the trap that drove a spike into a baddies forehead was awesome).
