If any episode deserved to be super sized it was this one. I could have watched another hour of that!

The dinner party reminded me of the serial killer convention from Sandman.

Interesting seeing John Carrol Lynch playing John Wayne Gacy. Almost seemed kind of meta to have Twisty the Clown playing Gacy.

Just a thought, but does March inviting John to the dinner party mean that John is the Ten Commandments killer? It would explain things like how the killer could spoof his wife's phone. Some kind of multiple personality? Is that what the Countess was saving Holden from?

Good call. I did think it was weird that March would invite him to the party.

I agree, it should have been a super sized episode.

Mare Winningham and Lily Rabe were terrific in this episode.

And yet, they're suddenly rushing the stories. I admit, I didn't piece together that Wes Bently is likely the Ten Commandments Killer (since March invited him to the serial killers-only party, and he got involved with all the other killers during their reigns of terror too), but it makes perfect sense.

Also, Alex going vampire with Lady Gaga just happened all of a sudden, didn't it? I'd like them to stretch out a few episodes of her coming to terms with Holden's condition. Instead, it was a one episode, "oh, something's wrong with Holden, he's a vampire, I'll become one too".

I only mention these points because this show has repeatedly run out of steam mid season, and they're heading that way again. They know how to draw out a single episode to 90 minutes, but don't know how to draw a story out for 13 episodes. Really really hope I'm wrong, but if this season crashes and burns like so many others, this was the episode where the engines started to fail.

I'm pretty sure Ryan Murphy has ADHD, so that'd make sense.

This was a great episode. I think the Halloween episodes are the best of each season.

At first, I thought he was playing Zodiac again.

Yeah, this show ALWAYS runs off the rails after Halloween. I really wish they would tighten the season to about 8 weeks, have it start in Sep & end right before Halloween.

Besides the fact that the writers run out of steam, it just feels weird watching this into Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year. Kind of like watching Christmas shows in May or something.

Seems pretty obvious now that they will have John be the 10C killer. Love Gaga in this and looking forward to episodes that feature her character more.

Re: American Horror Story: Hotel (S5E04) - "Devil's Night" - 10/28/15

I was watching this last night on FX Now and shut it off with 10 minutes left. This morning I tried to finish it and it wasn't listed with the rest of the AHS episodes. I searched "Devil's Night" and found the ep, but when I tried to watch it told me it could t load.

I also checked out the The League and the newest ep also wasn't there. Anyone else having this issue?
