Answers elude Carrie; Laura asks Jonas for help; Saul and Allison run an operation.

Apparently Quinn's knock out drug also doubles as Carrie's meds.
Better than last weeks mess.
Hard to believe someone as incompetent as Allison appears to be could rise that far. In a span of a few days she's responsible for a massive data breach, the failed assassination of Carrie and Quinn which probably fucks up Saul's operation, and now, even though she may not have been directly responsible, their replacement for Assad gets blown up in a plane.

quinn is a bullet magnet.
Maybe allison is the mole from season 1. Depends how long saul has been nailing her.

Bit of a bounce back episode. Some of the Carrie stuff was as excruciating Emmy-bait as usual, but the stuff without her in it was much better. Actually surprised by the end (the explosion NOT the call) but no mystery who did it.

And yeah, that video farewell was pure Emmy-bait, but it got to me. I'm a sucker for her quivering chin.

Regular Joe Shmoes password protect their phones, but I guess assassins don't like the inconvenience of it.

I may be wrong, but based on her answering the call from the dead guy's phone in Russian, I kinda think she's a double-agent. So she wants to fuck up Saul's operation. She wanted to blow up the plane since Russia backs Assad. She's also probably ok with the data breach since Russia now has that info.

I detest the quivering lower lip with a fiery passion.
For crazy, Vera Farmiga's Norma is far more nuance, interesting and interesting in my view.

Ugh, they really are doing this shit again? So Saul is literally sleeping with the enemy? blah. I'm so tempted to opt out but I don't want my only spy thriller to be fucking Quantico.

Loving this season so far. Yeah there are always plot points that you have to suspend belief, but I take the show with a grain of salt and enjoy it for what it is.

I'm enjoying the season so far, but the constant moles are getting old. And Saul, seriously, sleeping with this season's mole? damn.

I did like that Carrie was asking the "why" questions us viewers would ask about why Saul would target her. A lot of show don't do this.

Did Carrie recognize the voice? Sure hope so.
