The past couple of weeks have been pretty great for new releases

The new Chvrches is even better than their debut. This is saying something as I really liked the debut.
Likewise with the new Disclosure. The new one is more mature and consistent than their already fantastic debut.
The new Kurt Vile is yet another great album. A double LP first rate psychedelic folk rock and guitar mastery.
Deafheaven just released their third album and apparently it's really good. Haven't heard it yet but "Sunbather" was the most successfully combining of ambient death metal and dreampop I'd heard.
Wavves, a band that I always kind of liked but never really liked finally released an album I really like.

...etc. I had been struggling to find much that I truly liked this year and then this flurry of great stuff. It's weird.

New The Dead Weather is pretty solid, as expected.

Yep. I don't think I like it quite as much as the first 2, but it is good.

Over the last few weeks I've downloaded the new... Metric, Chvrches, Queensryche, Sevendust, New Order, Janet Jackson, Trivium, Winery Dogs... have yet to run into a dud.

BTW, this is the niftiest preview I've ever seen. Look at how they used YouTube's linking to make a menu to jump between songs.

And the album sounds great, too.
