I actually found this show funny as hell, and I expected to hate it. It's way more over the top and ridiculous than I thought it would be.

This show is bananas.

I can't even believe some of the dialogue they get away with on network. Hearing a girl (Little Miss Sunshine no less...) talk about getting spit roasted and Eiffel towered

Coney was great.

I liked this episode. Good satire on campus vigils and I liked the "I'm not KKT" signs. I laughed at Coney's death.

Did they ever show who was inside of Coney?

I freeze-framed the shot of the girl's transcript and was at some of the course titles.

I don't think so. I liked how the person inside was narrating about the perks of being a mascot and then the Red Devil killed him.

Coney getting killed to Wham's "Baby, I'm Your Man" was hilarious too.

So now we've learned there are at least two killers, and the father just pulled a Billy Loomis by interrupting an attack and only getting a flesh wound. Its interesting, funny, and way over the top. I'm really liking this show.

Yep, same.

Loved his showing of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre I guessed it was going to be The Shining.

Quite seriously, I do wonder how they are getting away with that stuff. Do the people making decisions just not know these terms? Or have we got to the point where anything but the few choice words (fuck, c u n t, etc.) are AOK?

Don't get me wrong, I 'm glad we have moved past the prudish TV world of the recent past where even words like hell would send censor groups into a tizzy. Also odd that the blood levels seem to go from 0-100 depending on the scene. Arms sawed off, fountains of blood. Brutal stabbing of #2 in the second episode, barely any blood at all.

Enjoying the series despite it being too much like Glee, and not enough like AHS, for my tastes.

I did think it was funny the father said "see you next Tuesday" to the class after showing the movie. Seemed like it was purposeful.

Are the character anomalies intentional? For instance, Chanel and the frat guy breaking up, then being together in the next scene, or her going over to him to give her condolences for his friend dying; when he came over to her house to announce that before.

yes, the arm amputation scene was surprisingly gory - thanks to the TV-14 rating, this could be quite interesting and guessing game how much the effects team/director(s) think they can get away with. Fox's sister channel: FX can pretty much show all the R-rated violence/blood letting from 'Immortals' and THAT was rated TV-14.
