This is getting good reviews, but every time I read the plot summary I think it sound like a cross between John Doe and Prison Break.

i don't know that I see this lasting the entire season. The premise feels a bit too direct to be able to fully expand into multiple seasons.

I'll check it out. This is one of the new shows that I am most intrigued by. Yes, it does seem like a combination of Chuck/Intelligence with a dash of Prison Break mixed in, but I enjoyed all those shows.

That has never stopped a network from renewing a show. NBC is putting their entire promotional push behind this show. I've been seeing previews of it across different mediums for the past six months. They are hoping it is their next Blacklist.

Not only that, but Blacklist manages to, more often than not, find a nice balance between the sometimes graphic nature of the work and the levity found in the interplay between the leads. Blindspot doesn't, based on the trailers I've seen, seem to have that working for it.
(Plus, the best shows, in my opinion, are always those with simple log lines that expand naturally at times goes on. The Blacklist? "Bad guy chases worse guys." They obviously threw a bunch more in there, but that's the underlying premise. What's the simple, underlying premise of Blindspot?)

While I hope it's not the next Blacklist (we stopped watching the beginning of last season), I am intrigued by the premise. I like what I've seen from the trailers and will check out the pilot.

Yeah, seems like NBC isn't shy about playing up the naked girl angle, especially during SNF broadcasts.
And like I talked about in the Movie thread, amnesia isn't really a medical thing (at least not like it's portrayed here with a lucid adult), so I'm sure that's going to bug the hell out of me.

I wonder how many people checking this out know Sullivan Stapleton from Strike Back or from 300:Rise of an Empire?
Seriously, if you've never seen or heard of Strike Back, you missed a hell of a show. It ends for good on Cinemax in 3 weeks.

Alexander is nice eye candy (I'm not proud), Berlanti's superhero stuff has been fun, and I'm curious about the way they'll execute the fight scenes on a limited budget. Sounds like the kind of thing I'd quite enjoy. My DVR is set, it sounds like this could be a fun genre show.

I hope they can somehow work Sullivan Stapleton inexplicably banging the hot chick guest star of the week into this show. Just wouldn't feel right otherwise.

This show is so boring. I had a hard time even paying attention. I think the writers thought they had such a cool high concept ("naked chick with amnesia covered in tattoos!") they forgot to work on the rest of the story or characters.
I did like seeing Jessie from Kyle XY though.

I enjoyed it. Good intro. After the Chinatown scene, I was worried it was going to end up being a bland cop show, but it picked up steam towards the end.
I like the characters, and odd choice of camera work in some scenes. Looking forward to episode 2 though
