REALLY contrived with Wiggum noticing the missing fireplace poker (why would they even be meeting in that room?), and seeing it there like that in the storage locker. That's 3 improbable things piled up.

Agreed that seemed like an implausible string of events. Here's hoping it leads to a worthwhile payoff - the last several episodes of stumbled somewhat so am hoping it goes out with a bang this season.

Well it's his office, so meeting there would be normal. And to Finney there's really no evidence of any wrong doing in the office. You have to remember, they're not there investigating a missing person - they're only there to ensure he meets the criteria for NFL ownership. With that said, knowing he no longer has a poker because the previous one is a piece of murder evidence - why didn't Finney just replace that poker or at least the whole set?

But yea, Cochran happening to notice it missing while eyeing the office - and then happening to notice the poker in storage just by browsing pictures is a HUGE stretch.

I never watched The L Word, but apparently this was a reunion of her and Katherine Moennig, who played lovers on that show.

I really wanted Abby to deck the teacher.

Ugh and Katie Holmes smile with those braces is just hideous.

Really don't like Cochran being part of the storyline so late in the season, but I guess he's trying to get revenge on Ray for screwing him over last season.

Yeah, I really didn't like that part of the episode.

I hope that the Bridget-Schoolteacher plotline ends now that Abby has found out about it.

So it that it for Mickey and the Missaninians? I was expecting a lot more violence.

It seems the next two episodes will focus on the Finneys and Cochran.

Man this season started off so good, but the past few eps have been not good... really don't like them bringing back Azaria/Cochran..

The invisiline line was good tho...

Agreed. I finished with season 2 just as season 3 began and they did a great job maintaining the momentum - while shifting the plot in an entirely new direction.

It's as if they struggled 2/3 way through this season and decided to (rather implausibly) bring back Cochran to help close things out.

Considering that one guy saw the cop following Mickey and Ray and then saw him again when they got busted at the container I don't think we've seen the end of that story.
