Good episode except when Eph scrolled through the assassin's phone to see a logo of Stoneheart. I mean really? Probably the lamest moment in the show's history.

Arg, so. much. filler! As a reader of the books this show is moving at a snails pace. So much useless shit thrown around.

so that's why they kept Bolivar around. he was sort of a wasted character the entire time until now.

I'm with Jonno. About the only things that really progressed the overall story were the assault on the church and the pissing match between Moneybags and Vampire Lackey. Neither moved mountains, but it's finally started to push some of the storylines into convergence.
Eph's new political espionage thriller spin-off show is LAME. Drink, make stupid decision, drink some more, make another stupid decision, kill somebody, drink, bang a new girlfriend, drink, drink, girlfriend dies, drink ... YAWN. Oh shit, Stoneheart is behind it! Wait, we already knew that and so did he! Drink!

The Master body transfer method seems to waste a lot of Worms.

I've caught up with the series, and I'm not happy about it.
I'm not gonna rant here about why I don't like this show, because you guys are digging it and that's cool. But I will express how disappointed I am in youse, because y'all led me to believe there was gonna be a real hottie working in the restaurant. But when she turned up, she was a skinny little kid I'd card before letting into a R-rated movie!

How do you figure? There's a big difference between being turned into a master yourself, which is what I presumed Eichorst thought was going to happen, and being killed (I presume there is no trace of the rocker left) because your master dumped his old body for yours.

You're arguing semantics. Eichorst wanted to be turned into the new master. The existing master assimilated Bolivar. Eichorst gets to keep being #2. That's all I was saying. Replacement, ascension, tomato, tomatoe.

Yeah Eichorst wanted to give up his body for The Master. He felt honored to do so...until...

Eichorst has become a true believer in his master's plans, which is why I was okay seeing him so willing to sacrifice himself.
The biggest problem on this series is that you can tell the producers/showrunners aren't exerting editorial control on every scene from the top-down. It's the same problem that eventually ruined Heroes. Some scenes are clearly being written and directed by better talent, while other scenes feel like b-movie stuff.
