Thanks for posting the info. I love their stuff but thought they had broken up.

I will definitely be at their Birmingham show in March.

Still a huge fan. It was a nice surprise when out of nowhere they announced a new album last month. I'll definitely be at the NYC show on 4/4.

Although, "Light it up"...yikes. Never thought there would be a Disturbed song I would give a thumbs down too, but what a disaster.

Re: Disturbed - Immortalized (8/21/15)

This new album doesn't have the hard sound I enjoyed, but Light it Up is fun (I mean, a song about weed, come on, have to love it lol).

But tour dates already announced? I am SHOCKED that they are playing at places like HOB and other smaller venues when they used to play at outdoor venues and what not. Man, wonder why this is...

Bands like them are quick to come and go anymore. Look at Godsmack. I saw them open for Metallica and 3 years later they are playing a small open grass area at one of the local casinos.
I dont have any answer as to why but I just know I see it a lot and it's been that way for a good 15 years or so with rock bands.

The Chicago House of Blues show sold out in a second, Literally. I clicked at exactly 10am, and nothing. Good luck to the rest of you

Tickets don't go on sale until next Friday for my city's show. Looks like 45 bucks a ticket. Actually a little pricey for bands at that venue but I still plan to go. It will definitely sell out as it is a small (but nice) venue.

Some bands who have been away for a while start out in smaller venues to gauge interest and demand. Find out if they are still "relevant". Besides, saying "Sold Out Shows!!!!" sounds good on press junkets and whatnot. Nine Inch Nails did this back in 2005. They played clubs for one tour to find out if anyone cared anymore, then jumped back into arenas and headlining festivals.

As far as Disturbed is concerned, I seem to like every other album of theirs, although I never listened to Asylum. I'll have to check this one out.

Wonder how quick this will sell out. Snagged two tickets for the Santa Ana show.

Any good prices on the LE version of the album? $14.88 seems to be the best price I can find and that is on Amazon.

Just picked this up today. I am happy with it so far (listening to it now). Nice to hear some new Disturbed songs after all this time.

My gf is a big fan, I had no idea they had a new album coming out though - might have to surprise her with this... I'm not a fan of the band but she'll dig it.

Re: Disturbed - Immortalized (8/21/15)

Finished the album last night. Really liked it. I don't think it as good as "Asylum" or "Industructible", but it might end up that way after a few listens. They do a cover of "Sound of Silence" that started out pretty bad, but then got really badass by the end. Overall, I think 3 stars out of four is good for now.

Just got the CD in the mail. Haven't listened to it, but with what I've heard from a few songs, the overall sound is kind of soft. Does the music get harder on this CD?

Listened to the whole CD for the first time yesterday. Like it, but it's not one of their best.
