That website has increasingly edited the comments and "deals" posted on their website and the moderators are out-of-control. Their special relationship with retailer Best Buy and Amazon are no doubt the reason for this censorship.

Here's the deal which I was able to score this evening at the Surprise AZ Best Buy location. Evidently, Frys.com has Battlestar Galactica: The Definitive Collection Blu-ray for $22.99. Link: Battlestar Galactica: Definitive Collection

Best Buy price-matches the item and they are currently running a promotion where you get a $25 gift card when purchasing television seasons at $100 or more. They wouldn't issue the full $25.00 gift card but they issued one at $22.99. I guess the system will not allow them to "gift" more than the amount of the transaction after the price match. Hurry to your local Best Buy before this deal is gone or Fry's Electronics takes down the deal. Good luck—I always like "free."

An entire 18 blu ray disc for $23? I am not even a fan of this series but will see if a Best Buy has this to buy.

My local Best Buy had no issue. It was a painless transaction. They looked it up online and the register issued the gift card for $22.99. There was no shenanigans. It is legitimate. Say what you want but I believe Blu-ray.com "moved" the deal quickly. It appears to me that the people who run that site are more interested in the "special" relationship with Best Buy and Amazon than their readers. There was no reason to take the deal down so quickly.

I'm just pleased as can be that I was able to snag this one—$2 for tax. I pretty much despise the people who run Blu-ray.com so I guess I am a bit biased. I don't want to benefit them financially so I will no longer use their links. I'll support other sites like DVD Talk. My local Best Buy knows me quite well so I'll admit they probably were more open to granting this deal.

I saw the same thing. I only mentioned it due the how strange it was not to see the advertised item gone from the site. I got the impression that it was an advertised deal at Fry's. Unless this was a mistake even at the Fry's site.

I would not have made it BB even had I saw this thread yesterday. Had other plans. But I would have ordered it from Fry's this morning if I had the chance.

Doesn't mean that they will not have zeroed out the inventory for the whole country to prevent orders, but at least it's now on the site again.

Today I tried to get a raincheck at Fry's they said it wasn't a sale price, and probably a mistake so they wouldn't give me one. Went to Best Buy & got PM and gift card. Only problem is the Best Buy copies all have spiders on them. Now have to find an exchange.

Why would you want to buy this even if you're not a fan?

This is the old 1978 series that lasted only 1 season. Not the newer 2004 series that lasted 4 seasons.

It is interesting how Fry's removed the link to the Definitive Collection this morning, yet they now have the link active again. I went ahead and out an order in, it can't hurt. Also, when the link was out today, I was able to order the Remastered Collection for in-store pick up. But I did get a call about an hour later saying they were out of stock at the store. So who know's what's up.

Back to In Store Pickup only at Fry's. Hopefully it reverts back again at a time I can pull the trigger. I would love to upgrade this series essentially for free, or for a profit if I was to sell off the Widescreen discs.

Only for the Remastered Edition for my location. I placed another order since it said in-stock, but just got another call saying it was a mistake. I'll keep trying until they pull the link or get more in stock.

An $87 price match is extreme YMMV.

In my experience anything that takes well over 50% off the sticker price comes with some hesitancy.
