Interested to see how the change works. Gotta say I dig the hell out of that promotional shot

Awesome premiere. Lots of intense action. I see why TNT aired the 2 episodes back to back. The transition worked better as a 2 hour event than saving hour 2 to next week.
Looks like the crew of the Nathan James is going to be battling water and land-based foes this season. Glad they wrapped up the Olympia storyline. Season 2 will also probably focus on the crew working to restore order after the outbreak.
Poor Titus Welliver. Well, at least he still has Bosch to go back to.
Was surprised that Granderson committed suicide.
Loved Slattery taking out that douchebag with the axe. That was awesome.

Surprised and glad with how fast they resolved this. You are correct, the 2 hour episode was perfect and flowed great. Took me a bit to remember what happened in Season 1 and who some of the characters.

They didn't show Bertrise; the girl that was immune to the virus. She was a lot more valuable than the pregnant girl. Did I miss something last season?
This ep. could have also served as an ending if it was a mini series.

I liked that they didn't drag on the ship being taken over. It'll be interesting to see where they go now since they will be on land and at sea.

I just wish that they would introduce a character named Joe, so that they could yell out "Yo Joe!" a time or two each ep.

Great premiere. I totally forgot what happened in the S1 finale, but the premiere did a good job of making it easy to remember by not making things too convoluted.
Great action scenes.

Best episode of the series so far. Was only bummed they killed off Mr. Black (Titus Welliver). Would have liked to see him stick around.

I think I may be out of this one. Not for a lack of mindless summer fun. But I have no idea where they can take this that wouldn't seem stupid.... perhaps I'll just keep this as a "well, I have 42 minutes to kill" on my recording box.

Much slower than last week.
I know they can't do high octane action every week. More about the crew of the Nathan James searching for their families, especially Slattery.
At least Chandler's kids are essentially being written out for the time being since they are staying with his Dad and he's going back to work.
That cult might be an interesting development in a future week.

Pretty good episode this week. We actually got some action and gun fights.
Looks like we have some evil British mercenaries in the mix. One of them from the flashback is on Aquarius on NBC.
I remember the actress who played the Israeli soldier on that canceled FOX series Gang Related last summer. I like her and the Aussie soldier was pretty badass.

This show is hitting on all cylinders. I was concerned that there might be somewhat of a drop off since they finally made it home last season, but so far they have found a way to keep this show going without having any "sophomore slump".

Really ramping up the action. I also like the addition of the Israeli and Australian soldiers. So far this is very enjoyable this season.
