I'm going to miss it when it's gone, but I'm so glad we got what we got. Such a unique show.

"I love a good finger-wagging."
"Yes, you do. How's Margot?"

Hannibal was extra salty in this episode, and it was glorious.

I am so sad this is ending. I really thought it would've been saved by now, but I didn't fully understand the contract with amazon & other problems associated with Bryan's new show.

Interesting choice to essentially turn Dr. Bloom into Dr. Chilton.

Back when they revealed Abigail was still alive at the end of season two, I always figured they would double back at some point. I assumed what Dr. Katz saw in Hannibal's basement was Abigail, and I figured the show would confirm it tonight. Maybe Hettienne Park wasn't available.

copy/paste post from the last thread since this thread was made days after the episode aired... -_-

I had to giggle when I saw that advert at the bus stop as the tooth fairy picked the woman up.

"Open Wide - Say AAAHHH!!!; See your dentist today!"

I guess you're from overseas, but the show was cancelled and dumped to Saturday nights now in the United States. That's why I don't make the threads until Saturday.

I actually watched Manhunter and the 3 Hopkins films this week and I think the show blows all of them away. Everything is so artfully done on a TV budget and I think the writing is better on the show.

I don't really like what they did to her character. She is basically completely different that when she started the show. She was a doctor who worked with the FBI and she was overprotective of Will. If not outright in love with him. She sort of made it clear that they may have a shot if not for his mental illness. Now shes a lesbian who for some reason was living with the Adams family. Who didn't seem to have a problem with all that was going on in that house.

Yeah, I was waiting for that scene too. Yeah we all assume Bev saw Abigail, but I'm curious as to what the context was. Because we saw that scene with Beverly finding something in Hannibal's basement, I've had this image in my head it was Abigail being held on life support with parts of her cut off or something. Obviously that isn't the relationship Hannibal had with Abigail, but my mind is like "Sorry, I've already got my mental image of this thanks, so kindly back the fuck up.".

This show is killer, and is going out on such a high. It's nice to see the girl from True Blood again. I only watched the first few seasons of that show, but I always liked her in it.

I also wondered at what point Freddie's online crime blog went back to physical media. I guess that's what we get for adapting a 30+ year old book.

I love this show, but I felt it was overkill with the original dialogue they lifted from the films in this episode. So many times, I knew exactly what the next line was going to be.

It's still excellent, though, and I really wish there was going to be more...

It also didn't help that I recently saw Red Dragon again. I was surprised at how much dialog was identical.

To be fair, weren't the lines actually from the book? This series is based on the same book.

I was thrown by the Abigail scenes. Not sure where that is going.

I too am bothered by Bloom's character change. Makes no sense. Only down side in an otherwise awesome show. So wish they could re-do Silence of the Lambs with this cast and production crew.

Hugh just got cast in a Hulu series. That may be the last nail in the coffin. Dammit (in Jack Bauer voice)!!!

I think it's fair to say that this show is done in series form. Maybe, they can reunite and do "TV movies" occasionally like Sherlock. That seems like something Amazon might be interested in.
