2 episodes in and so far the season is way better than season 4

Loved the opening Skitter attack on the camp.

at the guy who sampled the BBQ Skitter leg and dropped dead. His jaw melting off was a nice touch.

I love how this season seems more focused now, especially on the ground battle between the Second Mass and the Skitters. That ending with the Skitter insect waking up that bit Tom and that giant Skitter armada was cool.

So far, so good. Having a lot of fun.

Yeah, enjoying this season so far. It's not breaking much new ground, but it definitely seems to be heading towards an end game.

I like how they showed why they can't eat the skitters

Wonder what's going to happen with Brian, and Matt's new gf?

They've upped the action and cut back on the overly emotional human drama arcs.

I'm glad they decided to give this series an end rather than keep it going and going and going. I feel it's better this way and I can see everything is starting to come to the ending point.

no, it's just incredible to me how some mediocre shows like this get 5 seasons, something like Supernatural gets 10 (!!!), and Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, and numerous other great shows got considerably less. Time and place I guess.

Ahh. It is really hit and miss. Sometimes the type of shows I like either last season or get lucky and do just fine. Under The Dome will likely have ten seasons! Sure the actors will age years when it should only be a couple months.

Now if Falling Skies had a twenty two episode season three seasons would be pushing it. Feels like it is time to end the story.
