Hello. I'm wondering if anyone can settle the cut/uncut issue esp. with the releases of Roseanne Season 2.

I know that originally Season 2 was to be released (and was labeled as) uncut. However the information I've been able to find on the two sets is as follows:

Original Anchor Bay - 530 minutes on 4 discs
Bonus items
- John Goodman: A candid interview
- Best of Season Two
- Wacky Jackie
- Season One Launch Party
- John Goodman Audition
- DJ All Grown Up interview
- Peanut Butter & Jellyfish ?

Rerelease Mill Creek - 3 discs
DVD Box, B&N, and Mill Creek Sell Sheet all say 566 minutes (9 hr 26 min)
Mill Creek web page says 601 minutes (10 hr 1 min)
Amazon says 720 minutes
Bonus items
- John Goodman: A candid interview
- Best of Season Two
- Wacky Jackie
- John Goodman Audition
- DJ All Grown Up interview

Even at lowest time found for Mill Creek version, message is fewer special features but at least 33 min. longer run time. This implies Anchor Bay might have been cut. Or maybe just sped up the run times? Or Mill Creek has a boatload of extra trailers? Or much of my info is wrong?

Also, reading threads here I understand that original S8 and S9 were also cut, but possibly rerelease is uncut?

Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

DVDcompare only has the first three season listed, however, the compare of season one has this noted:

CUTS:
R1 America- Anchor Bay/Starz - Yes. Syndicated Versions.
R1 America- Mill Creek Entertainment - No Cuts. Original Broadcast Versions.

So that likely applies to all seasons, hence the run time differences.

Thank you for replying and for mentioning that website, it's new to me.

There was such an issue made (at the time) of S2 and future seasons being uncut that it seems not so straightforward to me (nor apparently reviewers or even on past threads here).

S1 was clearly cut though, you are quite right about that.
