Ended up buying "Zombeavers" off Ebay. Nobody has it (DVD).

Best Buy only has their BD exclusive, not the regular edition - as in NONE, no stores have it, though you can buy it from their website.

Target doesn't have it, neither does Wal-Mart.

In the end, I paid about the same as I would've had BB carried it. I'll get it in less than two weeks.

Sorry to hear that about Zombeavers JohnIan. Hopefully it'll arrive in good shape with no problems.

At least it got released. More and more I think that if Target, WM & BB all pass on a release then we're fortunate if they get made at all, and luckily Amazon, FYE, Deep Discount, B&N, etc. are there to still stock these releases. Unfortunately I foresee more like this to come, though hopefully I'm wrong.

The thing that bugs me is Wal-Mart, they carry all sorts of low budget and direct to video titles. At least my store does. I was so sure they would have it in stock. I was quite surprised not to see it.

I understand. I think I've been disappointed often enough that I'm more used to it. They definitely do carry a bunch of smaller titles, and some stuff that BB and Target don't. But they still pass on a bunch of others. It wasn't just Zombeavers though, another DVD released this week is Camp Massacre, not in stock at any of the three:
