We still don't know how they go to the bathroom, but a burning question has been answered. Deleted scene from last week's episode:

Cool scene. Should have removed one whining scene and kept this one.

the F/X in this one were a bit dodgy.

Although I got chills when the 3 heroes lined up against the Reverse Flash.

Wow, another awesome episode.

at Captain Cold just waltzing into Star Labs. Can they not get a lock on that place? Loved hearing Foreigner at the bar So cheesy but also just goofy fun.

Also we finally got a taste of where the show Arrow blows away the Flash, fight choreography. Great final act. Hopefully they can improve upon that in the future.

Thought it was a fun episode. While he wasn't physically there, they even figured in Ray Palmer.

Trying not to work myself into knots figuring out where exactly this fits in the Arrow continuity.

It's probably right before/right after he took Nyssa from Starling City. Don't think about it anymore though, because then it falls apart.

Marc Guggeheim confirmed the timeline is fixed now, so the Flash finale takes place after the Arrow finale.

Interesting. Wonder that Arrow's request of Barry means then?

Good start to the episode, weak prisoner stuff, but then great fight at the end. So the Reverse isn't as good as he thinks he is.

Great fun. Wentworth Miller was made for that role. Loved the fight scene at the end.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15

Man, that was a fun episode! So many heroes and villains showing up. Even Atom and Green Lantern references. Hal's out there!

Loved the fight between Wells and Arrow. Held his own better than Flash and Firestorm did. Laughed when Caitlin's only contribution at the end was saying "Ronnie" twice. Then he took off with Ollie! "Well, gotta go."

Cold just proved he was a thief and a liar. Why would Barry believe he's going to hold to their original bargain and not reveal his identity?

Nice to see the Reverse Flash's suit come out of the ring.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15

Chalk it up as another very good episode in what has been a great season. I loved it when Wells pulled out his Reverse Flash ring and ejected the costume. I liked the costume they came up for the Golden Glider much better this go around. I would have liked to see more of Iris's reaction to the startling news that she marries Barry in the future.

The only thing I may have done differently was keep Green Arrow as a surprise in the fight. I know they wanted that group shot for promos but it would have been more authentic and fit his character, if Oliver wouldn't announce himself in a fight to the villain.

On another note, I hear they plan to go retro with next year's opening credits.

The Flash ring!

So thoughts on next week:

Spoiler:
So if Barry stops Thawne in the past with his mom, then Wells lives and can remain in the group right? And then everyone can wonder if they can really trust him and have a little extra conflict.

Though my CW affiliate cut two scenes from the episode, it was still fun. The final fight was pretty awesome.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15

So is the Reverse Flash really dead at the end?

So are we to believe the Capt. programmed the jukebox with nothing but "Cold" songs once he arrived at the bar? Personally I think they went to far with that one. Hopefully they tone down that kind of thing in the future.

Doubt it. I think the nanites in Oliver's arrow just paralyzed him temporarily.

Really? You're nit picking about the Captain Cold music scene obviously that was intended to be tongue and cheek.

Spoiler:
I think the new show has suggested that Barry is going to change quite a few things. Clearly Sara Lance will still be alive. It appears that Firestorm won't be fully around since Robbie Amell is not on the new show and the cryptic comments indicate that his going back is going to mess with Caitlin/Killer Frost.

Others probably think that kind of stuff is cool, but frankly I don't want the series to go any further in that direction. The over the top dialogue coming from Cold (and others to a lesser degree) is bad enough without resorting to cheesy song drops during the same scenes.

I think Wentworth's performance as Captain Cold is dreadful, tbh. Very wooden. Not intimidating in the least.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15

I really liked different parts of this episode, but as a whole, this one was a miss for me. I'm really curious as to how Barry is going to change history if he saves his mom. On that note, I was already getting misty eyed during the preview from last week...

I could say it was showing how into the Captain Cold persona that he's become, but I just thought it was funny they played Cold As Ice during the conversation. The closest comparison in our society is athletes. See how wrapped up some of them become in their nicknames, one could easily see villains becoming enamored with their codenames. They see how much fame the heroes get from their costumes and get jealous. The point has been made in more serious comic book treatments that supervillains only appeared after superheroes started appearing.

I thought it was cute when the Golder Glider was begging Cisco for a name. Did anyone else spot the look she gave Weather Wizard? Now we can find out she once dated the Top...

I really liked Wentworth on Prison Break and the other things I had seen him in before the Flash. I agree his early Captain Cold appearances were way over the top, like he had decided to emulate the wacky Batman movie villains of the 1990s. He's pulled back on that level of cartoonish villainy in the last couple of episodes. I think he'll eventually get the right tone for Captain Cold.

They are definitely trying to straddle the line with Captain Cold, making him a likable villain on some level. I don't mind that direction but it's very tough to pull off.

Green Lantern series? Green Lantern series.

Ferris Air is in Central City now? I thought it was in Coast City.

My contact with those characters is limited to what I've seen on the Justice League animated shows, but they are always portrayed as over-the-top and somewhat ridiculous. Most of Flash's rogue gallery is like that. I think it fits that portrayal.

Same here. Love Wentworth in this - perfectly over the top IMO.
