We got to see a bit of Bad Emma this season, and now the show is going to go there again next season? I guess that means Gold will be good. I hope this concept is short lived.

I liked the Heroes & Villains reality. I would have enjoyed a whole season of that. Especially if it had been used as an excuse to bring back MIA characters like Ruby, Dr. Whale, and Mulan.
So based on the white heart, Rumpelstiltskin is the new Saviour? That should be an interesting twist. And I like the reveal of who the Sorcerer is. That's a callback to season 1, where Excalibur was among Rumpelstiltskin's magical collection.
All in all, this season reminded of the early seasons of Smallville. Fantastic season premier, shitty middle with a few bright spots, and a fantastic season finale.

That mostly lines up with my opinion of the season. I loved the Frozen arc and those characters, got a bit bored with Maleficent in the middle, and liked how they wrapped it up.
It should be fun seeing Merlin and presumably King Arthur.

Seemed pretty clear to me mid-season that they were going to go with a dark Emma. I'm looking forward to this twist after really being bored with most of this season. Especially the Frozen episodes. Never has such perfect casting been so wasted.
The show really needs to go back to more episodes focused on the leads from S1.
