Another member of the original series cast has beamed up. She was one of my first TV crushes.

She was a beautiful woman while appearing in Star Trek. I think she was one of many guy's first TV crushes. May she rest in peace.

RIP. I didn't realize she was as old as Shatner. I assumes she was 10 years younger. Was she considered a regular cast member before she left the show? I had thought she had just made sporadic appearances.

I think she would have been cast as recurring role and not regular cast.

Shit, is there going to be anyone left for the 50th anniversary next year?

She was only on in the first season... it may have been the first 13 episodes. She had a drug problem and was let go. I believe she was in some of the movies, though.

Sorry to hear that she has passed.

She was a little more than a year older than Shatner.

She was in eight episodes of the original series, four of the movies and an episode of "Voyager."

She was older than both Shatner and Nimoy! Who knew?

New York Times obit:

Apparently, Nimoy helped her get back on her feet as she recovered from addiction.
