Looking forward to this--season 1 was really funny, especially the final episode.

I'm not sure if my entire memory of last season was clouded by the fantastic final episode, but this was really poor. Especially the horrible Peter Gregory replacement. The scenes with her and Monica were horrid.

Huh, I really liked it. I thought it was pretty funny and on point.

I thought it was great, and while the lady playing Peter Gregory's replacement is a bit over the top, I still found her to be pretty funny.
Plus Run The Jewels playing during the closing credits.

at how Monica kept rambling on and on about Peter Gregory's death and yet still kept it vague.
Not LOL funny, but it was entertaining.
Nice little tribute to him at the end. Keeping him alive offscreen would have been next to impossible.
Dinesh to Gilfoyle: "Fuck you, I'm Pakistani" I don't know why but I laughed at that.
Glad to see Monica looking out for Richard.

Coincidentally, a recent article on Salon.com mistakenly referred to Kumail Nanjiani (Dinesh) as a regular on The Big Bang Theory. The writer was confusing him with British-Indian actor Kunal Nayyar who plays Raj on TBBT.

Pretty solid season debut. Started off a little slow, but definitely picked up steam towards the end. I think the female Gregory replacement is a little too close to how he acted, which seems like an odd choice, but I guess I can live with it. Excited to see where they go this season.
I'm screening these episodes for my development team at work. They're very well received.

I thought this episode was a great start. I'm glad it already got picked up for another season.

I don't think it is quite as brilliant as Office Space but it is pretty close. It's satire but so close to the truth it almost plays straight. Probably super cheap to make too for HBO to balance out the $200 million they will spend on Season 6 of GOT. There was more CGI last night in the first episode of GOT last night than maybe the entire first season, and most of it was super subtle and effective.

I enjoyed it. Yeah the show is kind of silly and not LOL funny, but it's amusing and has a certain charm, bringing enough laughs to keep me interested.

Well, now we know the repercussions when you whip your balls out onto a re-purposed table in a boardroom. Loved the ending to the credits. I sure as hell hope they don't sell out to that idiot.

I liked the ending. I thought that after the music was over we'd hear the answer - but I guess not. I chuckled when near the end Richard started eating.
Belson has a point though. The guys are all idealistic and everything, but they really wouldn't be much different if/when they grew Pied Piper into a corporation. When you have shareholders to account to, the bottom line is very important and you need to be extremely competitive to make those shareholders happy.
I normally like Gilfoyle's torturing of Dinesh, but I thought he was being too much of a dick to cost Dinesh his much-needed money.

My favorite ending on a show in a long time. Great way to close it, especially eoth both of their mannerisms the entire time.

BTW, what happened to Big Head?
He was collecting a paycheck from Hooli for essentially doing nothing, but other than giving Richard a heads-up on what Hooli was up to - not having him back makes his storyline last season seem even more irrelevant. Richard and him are no longer friends?
