Looks really cheesy. Was the first one like that?

Sinister is okay. I thought it had more potential to be honest and was a tad disappointed in it but I liked it enough. I agree that the ending was pretty weak but leading up to it the film had some good scare factors to it. The new trailer looks okay but sort of generic. I might see it but most likely on Blu-ray.

I honestly don't remember much about the first one but I think I liked it enough. Although
was one of the most unintentionally funny moments I've seen in a movie in a long time.

Sinister had its moments but the scene
was just awful. Since when do demons become cinephiles? I was like whaaaaat?! Also, the final shot of the film was stupid.

There is a special place in hell for people who shoot movies digitally and have the plots revolve around celluloid . I got an HDX UV code for this movie free here on the forum from someone (can't remember who), so I'll have a look at it at some point.

I liked the first one, but it had the potential to be great and wasn't.

Sinister was pretty solid. I'm not sure how much further the premise can be stretched, and there were some hokey moments in the trailer(the skull cornfield) but I will check it out on DVD.

I know I saw the first one, but other than one jump scare in particular I have no recollection of it. I'm sure I'll end up seeing this one somehow, but it doesn't look promising.

The first was decent, felt like a bit of a wasted opportunity to me, but the inclusion of Ulver on the soundtrack elevated it. Hoping for more of that this time around.

Kind of a let down. The kids weren't TOO bad (reviews had trashed the kids). The story was so-so (a bit too much romance for my taste). The deaths on camera weren't nearly as grim and detailed as the 1st. While I love looking at Rose, I felt Ethan and his family were a bit better. I was expecting more of a backstory to Bagoul (if that's how you spell it) but it seemed way too focus on the dead/ghost kids. And the closing scene just kind of ruined it for me. Really loved the first one, but this just didn't live up to what I thought it was going to be.

I really loved the first one, but this was just alright. The leads were good enough, but I feel like a lot was lost by
That said, I didn't hate it. I just didn't love it and I really wanted to.
