Didn't think Skye's mom would still be around

So Calvin sees that the guy has teleportation powers. He then tries to pin him to the floor, strike him, and then he teleports away, causing him to hurt his hand. Pattern recognition is obviously not his strong point.

Seeing Skye's mom back was a nice surprise. Guess she heals even after getting hacked up. I like seeing where the Inhuman stuff goes, but still not caring that much for the SHIELD stuff right now, especially if Coulson has to go back to Ward now.

Skye's mom being alive actually surprised someone? Still liked the episode. No spoilers just conjecture: cue the Samuel L. cameo in T minus 2 episodes or so.

The Shield stuff seems like a waste because since the movie is coming out, you know things have to be set up for it. Fury comes back, tells everyone to work together and that Cap's in charge.

All of this infighting is just musical chairs until Avengers 2 is released.

I wouldn't have said so if it didn't, no? I actually didn't think they would use her again on the show and it was just a bit part; not really surprised that they would pull the dead/not dead thing in general.

I don't understand the timeline with Skye and her mother. Skye would have been born around 1990. Her mother appeared to have been killed by Whitehall a lot earlier than that.

remember, she didn't age. that is why he was harvesting parts of her. my guess is she has healing powers too.

great way to have Deathlok back on the show.

Whitehall was an old man when he was freed from prison. The organ transplants gave him youth (maybe immortality too since Skye's mom is still alive) Figure he was 40 at the end of WWII so that would make him in his mid 80s when Skye was born. That's about the age he looked in prison.

If Skye's mom was still alive and her dad knew that (he didn't appear surprised that she was alive) why was he obsessed with killing Whitehall?

Because he subjected her to torture? Seems like a valid reason to me.

Not that I'm going to go back and watch, but in previous episodes did Skye's dad ever actually say Whitehall killed his wife, or just say "hacked up and dumped?" I just assumed she was dead and that he thought so too.

Yeah, it's obvious (given his comments in this episode) that the husband didn't think the wife was dead, just messed up. Having her alive in the present was a surprise. I just figured we would see more flashbacks to explain the past. It's now clear her "power" is healing to the point that she doesn't even age.

The real surprise was getting the cyborg back. Would love to see him become a regular.

this show just can't win with me.

at first I was hoping for more superpowered beings, and now that we have them, I find it the most boring part of the show.

So if Skye's mom is still alive, anyone think Whitehall could still be alive too? I mean she's alive after all that, and Whitehall really only took one bullet.

Does anyone else think that the place Gordon took Skye, where the Inhumans live, is the Moon?

The sky would be black, not blue, on the moon. Not many mountains like that on the moon either.

I told my wife that the Inhumans live on the moon in the comics and she said "maybe that's where they have Raina". Which I thought was a possibility. And then it turns out she was down the hall

Yes. I all but have expected it since he was supposedly shot and killed. Way too easy for this kind of show.

More like the most remote part of Tibet.

I don't think this show is doing the inhumans justice

They are much much cooler than this

If Skye starts creating a lot of weird seismic activity there I suspect a lot of people will be able to find them.
