I enjoyed this episode, well actually, half of it.
Lou Grover's storyline was good.
The elevator storyline was bad of course. And you didn't have reception in that elevator because you don't have Verizon.
Side note: I have Verizon and I actually had 1-bar signal in Icy Straight Point, Alaska (cruise a couple years ago). I was impressed. That shit is in the middle of nowhere. I was able to check my fantasy baseball team haha

Is this the first episode of Hawaii Five-0 without a shot fired? Was a gun even drawn?

I just watched this episode
I agree with MLB, I liked Lou's storyline, but Danny and Dr. Shaw being trapped in the elevator was lame.
My only problem with Lou's storyline was that he had zero forensic evidence that linked Clay to his wife falling off the cliff. Sure, he was banging a younger woman on the side, but everything else was purely theory. A DA wouldn't be able to pursue a case against Clay.
Chi McBride did give a good performance though, especially at the end. Liked that they brough Michelle Hurd from The Glades to play his wife.
