No word yet if the US is getting it, but I would presume so. From digitalbits:

First up today, some of you might be aware that Universal is releasing a Casino: 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray in the U.K. on 5/4. We’re already checking with our sources to see if it’s coming to BD here in the States as well later this year. Our guess would be yes, but we’ll let you know when we hear anything more definitive.

I'm a bit iffy on Universal and their catalog. They usually remaster? Or just reissue the same transfers?

And the HD-DVD. And the Blu-Ray. And 2 Steelbooks. Sadly, if this is a new transfer or has some new features, i'll own this one too.

Could have been worse...my favorite movie could have been Evil Dead or something.

Not long ago, I would have expected this to just be a repackaging of the same disc. However, recently Universal has remastered Apollo 13 and The Breakfast Club. And of course, Scorsese supervised a new Goodfellas transfer for Warner.

This is why I am thankful for 4K, even though I don't have much interest in actually having 4K video (for a while, anyway). We are getting better transfers of these catalog titles because it has given them an incentive to redo them.

Never got to see any of the features on Univerals botched DVD 18. Hope it has those and more.

The current Casino blu-ray already looks pretty good. A lot better than the old Goodfellas transfer. I don't see a new remaster improving things all that much.

Doubtful. With only rare exceptions (Apollo 13), Universal generally used the same master for both formats.
