One Big Happy (NBC) -- S: Cuthbert, Zano -- Series Thread -- Premieres 3/17/15
BEST FRIENDS LUKE AND LIZZY DECIDE TO HAVE A BABY BUT WHEN LUKE FALLS IN LOVE WITH PRUDENCE THEIR FAMILY PLANS BECOME A LITTLE MORE COMPLICATED - Luke (Nick Zano) and Lizzy (Elisha Cuthbert) have been inseparable since childhood. Now all grown up and in their 30s, they have decided to have a baby - in a non-traditional way. Lizzy, who is gay, is really ready to become a mom and who better to be the dad than her best friend Luke. Then, just as Lizzy discovers she is actually pregnant, Luke surprises her with the news that he has fallen in love and married Prudence (Kelly Brook), a free-spirited, British beauty who was due to go back to England in a matter of days. Suddenly, a different kind of family is born and the three must learn how to make it work together. The cast also includes Rebecca Corry, Chris Williams and Brandon Mychal Smith . TV-14 D, L

I think to get this premise to work, it'd either need to be on Showtime or they need the girls from Broad City (especially after that last episode).

I just can't get into these sort of generic sitcoms. Every line is predictable. I like Elisha, but she was much better in Happy Endings.

I thought this was sub par (yes, Happy Endings is far superior). However, I'll always check out with Elisha Cuthbert is up to, since I'm a die-hard "24" fan.

Elisha is the main reason, I tuned into the pilot. I didn't think the pilot was great. But I read in a review that there is supposed to be a plot twist later on and I'm betting that it could be

The laugh track was one thing, but the dialogue and delivery was terrible.
She's amazing.

I haven't seen Elisha in anything else to speak of, but from what I can see here, she can't act.

Yes, "I haven't seen Elisha in anything else to speak of" = I never saw that. If I had seen that, I would have said I had seen that.

The latest episode "Crushing It" was pretty good. Lots of good punch lines. Cuthbert is really doing well with physical comedy
