The Walking Dead (S5E13) -- "Forget" -- 3/8/15
Rick and the group continue to acclimate to their new surroundings. Will they be able to go back to normalcy? Better yet, what is normal now?

I'm really not liking where the show seems to be going with Rick's group becoming the bad guys.

Rick is going to be the creepy Joe Biden/john Travolta of Alexandria.
Carol's intimidation scene was equal parts hilarious and horrifying.
The wild horse being brought down when cornered had me briefly worried that Daryl might die.

I thought this was a pretty good episode actually. I like that we're seeing the characters adapting to life inside the walls in different ways and it makes sense that they'd be restless, on edge, and suffering from PTSD after all they've been through. It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here, but I don't imagine the peace will be long-lasting.
Even though it was really messed up I really loved the scene with Carol threatening the boy. Not crazy about the new love interest storyline for Rick though.
Hard to say if that's what's really going on or not. You're dealing with people who have been out there in the real world with a constant threat on their lives, whether it be the walkers or other survivors. After Woodbury, Terminus, the Hospital, and the Marauders can you blame them for being suspicious of these new people? All I've seen so far is them taking precautions to protect themselves in case things go south. And it's not even that they're just worried about the inhabitants of the town...they're also worried about people that might come to invade the town and don't want to be sitting ducks.

I think it was the writers trying to show to the viewers and to Daryl that no matter how strong or how fast the horse can run "out there", eventually, it will be attacked and killed by zombies. That is why Daryl was a bit more accepting of joining the group. Plus, it was a black horse so it was doomed anyways.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Foreshadowing? I can't imagine it's an accident.

The only thing I don't like is Rick trying to put the moves on the doctor's wife. I know he's changing, but given who he was before and after everything he went through with Shane and Lori, it just doesn't seem like something Rick would do after a few days. In no way am I saying that makes the show bad, though. It's a different direction for the character, and one I'm not enjoying so far.

I actually wish they would divide the group and have only some of them adapt to the new surroundings, and the others are forced to leave. It would create a great dramatic dynamic to see people like Sasha who just can't live that 'normal' life again compared to a Glenn/Maggie who would welcome a chance to live a normal married life. Plus it would be a way to cut out half of the group as I still think the group is too big and hurting some good character development.
And what happened to Father Gabriel????
