Seemed like a filler ep to me. At least Penny looked good in that dress in the fitting room.

"Is there any part of your body that's normal."
"Heh-heh!"
Surprised they got away with that.
"My legs won't open more than 22°."
Dirty joke potential; unlimited.
I like how they're kind of dealing with how they basically have NOTHING in common and the girls are willing to put up with it and Sheldon's endless narcissism, plus how Amy is always going along with whatever Penny says.
"What kind of store doesn't have wifi?"
I wonder that for years before my retail store got it at long, long last.
"The girls do a lot for us."
I'm glad to hear him admit that.
"On Earth? In our lives? That we're living?"
And Sheldon is back to being a raging egotistical asshole. As usual.
Not much for Bernadette to do this time, mostly smiling and nodding and a few one-liners.
"I'm lucky you found me before a cult did!"
LOL Amy is such a sad character, really . It's actually kind of depressing.
Sheldon actually admitted to being insecure. Hey. That was actually a little touching.
Wonder why they're broaching religion? Kind of a sensitive subject, especially for a lightweight sitcom. Hardly a sitcom first or anything, just odd that it seems to have randomly come up. The whole B-plot was kind of pointless and filler.

Just doing a check in here and I see less than one page of comments and not much of interest. Kaley's haircut was a big mistake.

I think you guys may be missing the point of the episode. The only cameo really was Bernadette. But each "pair" found out something about the other that they didn't know before even though they had known the person for a while: Sheldon and Leonard aired their true feelings about compromise, Penny found out that Amy's just been going along out of loyalty to her, and Howard discovered that Raj has a religious side all this time.
On top of that, I actually found the episode funny as well.

I didn't care for the Raj side plot, but thought the Sheldon/Leonard thing was kind of sweet.

The episode was okay but nothing too special really. There really hasn't been a lot of standout moments this season. The part at the end between Leonard and Sheldon at the end was the best stuff in the episode and was sort of a touching moment or at least as touching as it needed to be.

They seem to be focusing having more touching moments, and character growth, with the rest of what made the show so funny in the first few season getting left out in the process.
The result is a new show that I find entertaining, but for different reasons. But I suspect the new direction is turning people off and they are going to lose viewers fast, if they haven't already.

I'm all for character growth and some touching moments are fine, but the show just seems off this season. At this point I'm not really sure how they plan to stretch it out for two more seasons and I hope it doesn't go past two more. It just seems like the show has lost its stride and is running on fumes.

Moving to Mondays for a couple of months certainly didn't help the ratings.
Creatively, it's definitely languishing, but it is 8 seasons in. Not that I want to see too much more of Stewart, but I think that they need to have some new characters pop up every once in a while to add some more freshness to the show.

For a guy who hates Indian food, doesn't observe Hindu dietary customs, and has stated how much he actually hates India, it was a bit out of character for him to suddenly be religious.

I know they have a monster hit with this, but I don't think they're doing it any favors by dribbling out an episode every few weeks.
Oh yeah, I hate Kaley's hair.

It's very realistic. You've never met someone who fits this description but all of a sudden gets religious when a catastrophe or a life changing event happens in their lives?
