Any recommendations on where to go for some good not-too-pretentious music discussion? Someone (jokingly?) suggested the Steve Hoffman forums once but... uhh... I didn't really get into it.

I'm just looking for somewhere to shoot the shit and get a good idea of new releases to check out based on my tastes, as well as some recommendations for older stuff. Ages ago, I was active in newsgroups and some IRCs, but all that has dwindled.
