Re: Best Buy DVD prices (December 28th, 2014 - January 3rd, 2015)

Warehouse 13 Season 5 for $12.99. I was happy to finally buy that and complete the series, although I probably should've waited, sometimes these completed shows just seem to stop being on sale and for peace of mind I bought it now. It helps that I got my Coke MCR $25 BB gc today (I didn't want to lose it so spending it immediately seemed the best course).

Lots of displays with a variety of stuff on sale. It was hard to keep track and after taking notes at Target I wasn't going to repeat, but I was surprised to see Teen Wolf S1 & 2 for $6.99 each and S3 Part 1 and 2 for $14.99 each. I'm not familiar with the show, but that seems a good deal for the first two and I have a vague recollection of someone recommending it.

I recall Deliver Us From Evil 2014 for $10, Begin Again for $12. Nikita S4 for $15. Which might be tempting for those who find S1-3 at BL?

Re: Best Buy DVD prices (December 28th, 2014 - January 3rd, 2015)

Does anyone know why my local Best Buy can't order Warehouse 13 season 5 for me? They have a spot and tag for it but are sold out. It's available online but they wouldn't order me a copy.

I know I can just order it myself online but it seems odd that they can't do a raincheck or order me a copy of something they regularly carry.

I've waited this long for it to drop in price so for $12.99 it's a good deal but add $3 s/h, and it's a lot harder to pull the trigger. For just a half a season, $9.99 seems like the right price to wait for anyway.

"Teen Wolf" was a blind buy too.

This is from MTV so I was expecting crap. It's a mix of stupid actions and smart moves - which surprised me. Not bad. I had no buyer's remorse.

I need to pick up S3 P2, but I might wait. It may hit $6.99 soon enough.

I've no idea, sorry. It sounds like something they should be able to do, but perhaps there's some corporate reason, or the employee(s) you talked to were "busy" or maybe recent hires for the holidays?

You might try asking in the "Store Forum" section. There are some people there who I never see post in the DVD section here, and so may better see your question there.

As far as Warehouse 13 goes, then I wouldn't pay $16 either. $13 was likely my ceiling, and that only because I had the gc already. It likely will be at a better deal sooner or later, and you'll probably thank them for saving you a couple bucks. Well, maybe not thank.

Hm, thanks for the info. That sounds in line with what I've heard of MTV shows, like Finding Carter, which is supposed to be a bit uneven, but with some decent, and at times even fairly good, moments.

I guess I should try to get to Teen Wolf S1 very soon, at least a few episodes' worth, in case I enjoy it enough to grab S2 for $6.99 also.
