Nice to see Steve and Danny get in trouble and not avoid punishment for a change (the Xmas tree).

Wow. For a show that usually results in eye rolls, this episode may have taken the cake. Particularly Kono with the rope, and then the horse running to his trainer.

But I really liked seeing Ravi Patel as the rival doctor. I met him last month at a film festival. He's the subject of a great documentary called Meet the Patels, about his parents' effort to arrange a marriage for him.

When Kono had the rope and was chasing the suspect, I was like "Don't do it! Stop. Don't even..! Don't have her lasso the suspect!"

And this episode really showcased why I'm not fond of procedural TV shows. Once I saw the rodeo guy owner at the beginning of the episode, it was obvious he was the killer.

9 out of 10 times, the killer is always the guy they meet at the beginning. The second person the 5-0 team interrogates is always surprised the victim is dead. "I don't know what you're talking about. What? John is dead? I hated the guy, but I would never kill him!" And then in the final act, they realize it's the first person they interviewed at the beginning of the episode.

Same old shit.

OR, it's the noted celebrity guest star. If they do an episode of no-name guest stars AND Michael J. Fox, then ya might as well throw the cuffs on ol' Marty McFly as soon as you see him on screen
