Once Upon a Time (S4E10) -- "Shattered Sight" -- 12/7/14

Elizabeth Mitchell ("Lost") Guest Stars as the Snow Queen
"Shattered Sight" - Storybrooke is in a state of chaos with all the residents under the Snow Queen's Spell of Shattered Sight at each other's throats. Emma and Elsa race against the clock to free themselves of the ribbons and take down the Snow Queen and her curse. David can only watch when Regina clashes with Mary Margaret in an epic battle. Meanwhile, Gold gathers Belle and Henry as he prepares to leave town forever, and Will Scarlet looks to square his tab with Hook. Kristoff's thick-headedness leads Anna to a heartwarming discovery, on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David Nolan, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O'Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry, Michael Socha as Will Scarlet and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

Didn't like the resolution. The bottle seemed a bit too convenient. The scenes for the 2nd half of the season looked interesting though!

Yeah, the resolution was far too easy. I was hoping that bottle was a lead-in to Ursula instead of what it turned out to be. The spell was pretty weak since no one was even injured. I get this is technically a family show but it used to be ballsier in season 1. Like when Regina outright murdered the Sheriff cos he fell for Emma. Even Mr. Gold feels neutered, despite what he's been up to.

While I get Ursula and Malificent (Emma killed her already. Have fun explaining that) can be a threat since they use magic, what the hell sort of threat is Cruella De Ville? She wanted to kill some dogs (she is KVRDave approved). I guess Pongo the Dalmatian might be threatened.

Just when you thought the story line couldn't get worse... the bottle! Only redeeming part of this season so far has been them getting the Emma character to the point where she is one of the few using magic on a regular basis.
Looks like there is one more episode before the break, right? Seems like many have been going on like this last one was the last before the break.

It is like last year when they defeated the Wicked Witch of the West and then had another episode that helped set up the 2nd half of the season.
