When it first happened I was like "obvious hallucination," but then it kept going. had me believing it until the end.

Jesus Christ the Ambassador's husband is really off he rails. He didn't really have to switch out the meds, it's not as if his handlers would have known any better.

I'm pretty sure they would have. It appears they replaced them with hallucinogenics of some sort, which was probably the point. They can't just kidnap bitchy yet still somewhat sane carrie, but if she is off in la-la land enough to think she is seeing brody, they can grab her, interrogate her and dump her in an alley when they are done. She isn't going to remember what the hell happened, and people around her will just assume she had another psychotic break.

That whole last sequence had me going and I almost fell for it. That would have been a Bobby Ewing shower moment had that been real.

There was a rumor a few months ago that Damian Lewis was seen visiting the set, but the showrunner Alex Gansa would not confirm if he had a role or was just visiting friends. He blew it off. I kind of forgot about it until it happened tonight.

At first I assumed they just replaced her meds with sugar pills. As the episode went on, I figured they probably replaced them w/something else.

Still neat to see him in the episode.

I didnt get a chance to watch this episode until Monday Night, as some idiot on facebook ruined the Brody scene earlier that day, so I knew it was coming.

Overall, it was probably the best episode of the season, as its been pretty good the past few weeks. The show is always better with Crazy Carrie then Creepy Carrie sleeping around with her enemies.

I thought it was good up until Carrie went off the rails, then it became a bigger train wreck than she is.

Danes is fantastic in crazy mode. She lets out all the stops. I liked the directorial touches too with the buzzing lights & little sounds becoming distracting. The scene in the street really got me when it turned out she was just hallucinating shooting those guys. Great ep.

I don't buy for a second that she was able to get away from Quinn like that, especially in the state she was in.

The guy in the hospital? That wasn't Quinn. It was a figment of her imagination. Quinn was in the control center. It was a doctor in the hospital that got his ass kicked by her.

Good scene and ending nonetheless.

Sometimes I feel bad for Claire Danes, she has to be spent doing this characters manic gyrations all the time. They ask her to do a lot of heavy lifting all the time.
