The Vampire Diaries (S6E06) -- "The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" -- 11/6/14

"The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

A RESCUE IN THE NIGHT - When Alaric (Matt Davis) realizes that Jo (guest star Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) can't be compelled, he asks Elena (Nina Dobrev) to do some digging into her background. After learning that Enzo (Michael Malarkey) has been captured by Tripp, Caroline (Candice Accola) teams up with Matt and Stefan (Paul Wesley) to rescue him before Tripp learns their true identities. Armed with some new information about her past, Sarah (guest star Gabrielle Walsh) breaks into Tripp's (guest star Colin Ferguson) office and is surprised when she finds Matt (Zach Roerig) there, doing some investigating of his own. Meanwhile, Elena is forced to deal with the consequences of her actions, and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) hits rock bottom, lashing out in a destructive way. Lastly, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is determined to take matters into his own hands when he receives some upsetting news. Garreth Stover directed the episode written by Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux (#606). Original airdate 11/6/2014.

So Aleric is human and it sounds like he will stay that way even if he leaves the no magic space. Elena can't get her memories back. However, I think it has already been stated going into the no magic space removes compulsion. So she would just need to enter it for a second and step back out. Might hurt a lot but she'll do it anyway for Damon.

Didn't really like this episode much. I hate witch doctor. I hate Jeremy plot line. I hate that Stefan didn't leave Enzo to die.

Now Aleric gets to go from super vamp with speed, healing, immortality, extremely hard to kill, extra strength, mind powers, with no standard vampire weaknesses aside blood (a bit of a pain there) to a standard human............that would suck!

He didn't want to be a vampire though so for him it was good thing. I thought it was silly not to drag him out of the circle though. Also I'm not sure why everyone is so sure he won't turn into a vampire once he leaves Mystic Falls.

I think you guys have just blown the plot twists for the next eight episodes.

I want Enzo killed off, he must be a favorite of the producers. Now that Alaric is back, how many friends does Damon truly need?

I would concur that Jeremy's storyline is terrible. I assume it's only a matter of time until he finds out Damon is lying about Bonnie.

Interesting twists..

Maybe I'm in minority, but I'm enjoying the new doctor. However, I agree the Jeremey plot sucks. I think he has had maybe 1 good plot in 6 seasons.

Seems like Elana would be an easy fix since you know how to save her. Not like she got a bullet to the head.

I do wonder if witch is related to coven douche with Bonnie.
