Yeah not a fan of this episode. It was OK, but we've seen this storyline done before on this show, and bringing back a character who was attached to one of the five worst episodes in the series history did not help matters.

I didn't mind seeing her back but almost every episode now feels like we've seen it already. I think they've run the tense dynamic between Sam and Dean into the ground.

I think she was that one chick the boy saved in the past episode. You know the one episode with the supernatural stuff.

this show is suffering from killing off too many great characters in the past. they are pulling out these people from prior episodes that are virtually unrecognizable and hold no emotional weight to them.

Wonder if there's any way to reinvigorate the show at this point? This far in, they've played it from so many different angles and pretty much every supernatural thing there is.

These days I am far more interested in what Castiel and Crowley are doing, but their "jobs" introduce a very limited set of storylines. Does anyone care by this point which faction is ruling Heaven? They've had about six different groups of Angels fight over it.

Probably not, unless they were willing to expand the cast again and mess with the formula. They've been deathly afraid of introducing a permanent female cast member on Sam's and Dean's side. I actually thought last season was pretty good until it ran out of steam at the end.

I would like to see Lucifer back as well for an extended run, but that actor probably commands too much money these days. Name actors don't want to commit to their shooting location in Canada and the two leads are getting paid a substantial portion of the budget.

I love his addiction to fried foods.
But yeah, this season sucks so far. Season 8 was arguably there best ever and made up for alot of the junk in season 9. But this season is all junk so far. Fingers crossed it improves.

He was awesome, Ritchings was brilliant. That subtle, soft voice with a hint of menace that although it never did, you knew could boil over into omnipotent power you couldn't even imagine. And I like how "Appointment in Samsara" implied that sometimes, the weight can be heavy and he isn't as callous as you'd think. "Heavier than it looks, isn't it?" And as far as the "Why don't omnipotent beings just change the rules when they feel like it" explanation was actually fairly satisfactory. And his obsession with junk food and "buh-bye" license plate were hilarious .
