Hawaii Five-O (S5E01) -- Season Premiere -- "A'ohe kahi e pe'e ai" -- 9/26/14
THE ISLAND OF O'AHU GOES ON LOCKDOWN WHEN FIVE-0 HUNTS A TERRORIST WHO STARTS USING WEAPONIZED DRONES ON CIVILIANS, ON THE FIFTH SEASON PREMIERE OF "HAWAII FIVE-0," FRIDAY, SEPT. 26
"A'ohe kahi e pe'e ai" - The island of O'ahu goes on lockdown when Five-0 hunts a terrorist who starts using weaponized drones on civilians. Meanwhile, McGarrett and Danno must go for a mandated review with a psychologist, resulting in a session which looks a lot like couples therapy, on the fifth season premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 (9:00-10:00, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
(*A'ohe kahi e pe'e ai is Hawaiian for "Nowhere to Hide")

I didn't realize Borth was done. That's too bad. I don't like McBride's character. Sorry to see he's a regular now. I didn't need the re-cap disguised as a therapy session. Why does Grace still call her dad Danno? It worked in the beginning because she didn't know him that well, but after living with Danny for several years you'd think she'd call him dad now. I never liked the idea of Steve driving Danny's car all the time. It's hard to believe Danny allows it, and the joke got old a long time ago. Is the Wo Fat storyline done? I don't remember, and there was no mention of it or Steve's mom in this episode.

So the last 5 mins sets up all the stories for the season. Wondering how far in until Adam dies? Love the return of Super McGarrett. Shot in the leg? Can still run. Exits the hospital (which was the Blaisdell Center). Needs a wheelchair and crutches.

That's not why she calls him Dano. It's a pet name from when she was learning to speak. Those two have always been close from day one.

Oh. I thought Grace lived with her mom after Danny and she divorced, and so Grace didn't know him very well until he moved to Hawaii. Guess not. Thanks.

belt fed 7.62x51 would have ripped that camaro apart
when danno closed the door and two rounds hit they would have gone right through the door and in to him
even 5.56 rips through doors and fenders with no problems at longer range than they were running up against
and steve chasing a guy with a bullet to the leg was kind of funny too
I wish they'd at least try for a little bit of realism in this show

Good start. I enjoyed seeing Steve and Danny in therapy and the flashbacks to the 1st season. I think Grover fit in just fine as the new team member.
at how Five-O always storms into houses with high powered assault rifles even though the person of interest may be of minimal threat.
at the Drone storyline and having Five-O evacuate all of Honolulu from the streets and then that CG plane landing sequence.
I don't think they're going to kill off Adam. I mean it's not going to kill them to keep him as a part-time guest star. Their is pretty much no threat against him or Kono at the moment.
Looks like they're keeping some serialized elements. Wonder how long before Wo Fat makes another appearance.
