I am looking for a Digital receiver. One with DD and DTS support. Are there anyother things to look for in a reciever? It will be powering my Bose system(cubes w/ base module, center, and surround speakers (v100). I need a receiver with many inputs for my DVD player, vcr, playstation.

Depending on how much you would like to spend my personal choice are Pioneer Elite and Onkyo. I have some friend that like Yamaha.
As for a particular model, I am getting ready to buy a Pioneer Elite 36TX which is loaded including THX Ultra certification. Other models I am considering are the Pioneer Elite 35TX and the Onkyo 787. All these recievers come in under 1000. The 35 and 36 pioneer can be had fairly cheap at www.wholesaleconnection.com. If you are just going to be powering a Bose system, then I'd keep my investment on the cheap side as you won't really get much improvement going to a more expensive receiver unless you are planning to change speakers. Otherwise, I'd look for something with a remote control that you like. The remote is really the thing you'll be using most so it's important that you like the feel and that it can work your other components. Anything from sony, kenwood, pioneer, or onkyo that is DD and DTS on-board can power your Bose system just fine.
