Best Flapper 20's-30's films?
My son is really getting in the 1920's and early to mid 30's. He is asking about those cute flapper girls so I am looking for films that are from that era with a flapper feel to them.

Contemplating this
http://www.amazon.com/Olive-Thomas-Collection-Everybodys-Sweetheart/dp/B0007M21ZI/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1407071152&sr=1-1&keywords=the+flapper
Do any of the TCM forbidden or Pre Code's have any goodies?
.....but son's not into silent I don't think

Clara Bow in IT (1927). If your son's a red-blooded American male, he's sure to react. Almost anything with Clara Bow from that period should qualify, although I'm not sure how much of her output is available.
Joan Crawford did some silent flapper movies--OUR DANCING DAUGHTERS (1928) is the famous one.
Here's a link to a list I found describing "Films of the Jazz Age" - some of these descriptions might give you some good leads:
