Ok so we are upto episode 5 which was the strongest so far

I like the fact that Briggs is in the background in the current storyline

Love how the drugs/sex trafficking angle is going. And Carlitto is a great villian.

And mike juggling his blonde hookups was funny

Yes. Paige is a much more prominent character in Season 2.

I did not like Paige doing such a risky maneuver on her own like that with Jakes, I don't think they sold it well enough. It was kind of funny that Jakes took his son out all day with a hooker and somehow expected to get away with it despite a restraining order.

but i thought episode 5 was good though it was hard to see a sanitised, 'PG' sex trafficking set up

Really like the set up of the Graceland crew v corrupt LA gang unit, that could be fun if the gang unit are made to be a legit threat.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that turn at the end. There is only so much you can do with a Mexican cartel as a storyline.

I'm usually 1-2 episodes behind, but am almost caught up. i'm astounded by the number of subplots/crime trails that have been introduced in 6 episodes so far this season. Mike is really going to move up the chain if he can get to the bottom of all of them... Haha.

I've liked this season, just not as much as the first season when you never knew if Briggs was going to do something truly evil.

That whole situation with Johnny and the cartel head's daughter is going to end in disaster for him of course.

I am really liking this season, way more so than the first year (the horrible Jakes plot aside). I thought it showed a lot of promise in season 1 but wasn't really 'must see' tv for me - now I'm looking forward to each episode. Interested to see if they can keep the quality up to the finish line.

Kelly is the widow of that FBI agent Briggs killed last season. He felt sorry for her since Briggs had to hide the body, so technically from the FBI's standpoint he is still missing and not dead. I think it's probably the most interesting storyline this season.

Why exactly was Mike doing what he was doing? I didn't understand the point of the charade with Paige, unless he is just scared to tell her the truth of what happened. It's not like it was his fault.

it sort of was. he had everyone hold off on taking sulla earlier and rescuing the girls, he also antagonized him into a pissing match that resulted in her getting shanked.

realized the drug storyline sister was a werewolf on true blood who did frontal nudity. now when i see her, i picture her clapper valve on full display.

I think this season has had too many contrivances in the plot. So much of it would quickly unwind if a couple of things were changed. I'm not liking the direction they've taken between Paige and Mike, this is really zombie Paige.

I foresee a very tragic season finale with major deaths.

i also wonder if the corrupt cops saw Paige in a DEA vest when Briggs claimed she was FBI earlier. That might blow his cover.

Couldn't that be explained that they loaned her a vest?
As to Johnny, I can see Lucia saving him but Jakes gets got since he's the one doing the deliveries.
Will Jessica be written off since Haven is on for another season? Or will she be able to handle both shows? Maybe Paige shoots her in a jealous rage and has to hide her body giving us a storyline for next season.

No one? This latest episode is a major game changer. I really thought it was a dream episode most of the time. There was also some sloppy editing for such an important episode. The twist was largely ridiculous and came out of nowhere.

Just catching up watching the last 2 episodes. Just watched the 1st of these where there was the raid on the sex trafficking warehouse. That was friggin awesome ! very well done and intense !

Overall really good episode, now to watch this weeks ep
