Nevermind shipping, it was free for me, but I paid $4.04 in taxes. $130 on Amazon and they average $15 each.

Comes out to about 60% off what I would pay after tax at Amazon. About 7 hours of content and 7 hours of extras. This is my first foray into IMAX Blu. I love the BBC BDs and have just about all of them (Planet Eart SE, Blue Planet: Seas of Life, Frozen Planet, Human Planet, etc.) and love each and every one of them.

Don't confuse these discs in any way with the spectacular BBC documentaries. These run about 45 minutes each disc and are very superficial eye candy. Not a bad deal at this price, but likely stuff you won't watch more than once. Remnants from the early days of DVD when people were desperate for something to show off their home theater system with.

Each one has a 40-50 minute episode and a 30-45 minute documentary and most have an additional 10-20 minute extra. It definitely is eye-candy. I've seen a couple of IMAX titles on DVDs and liked them.

True IMAX documentaries are always eye-catching, but can vary drastically in the quality of the content. So I recommend checking them out somehow (NetFlix or something like that) before buying any of them.

(The 3 IMAX documentaries that I own and highly recommend getting are Ron Fricke's "Chronos", Ben Burtt's "Blue Planet", and "Cosmic Voyage" narrated by Morgan Freeman. None of which are in this set.)

FYI...Nice set for the price. Very pleased with this blind buy! Got mine already and can't wait to check them out! Again, thanks OP!
